Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 5, 2026

Chad Newbry, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the HeroMask AR mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Face Data (TrueDepth Camera & ARKit)

The App uses Apple’s TrueDepth camera and ARKit framework to provide real-time AR face tracking. When you use the App, the TrueDepth camera captures face geometry data (a 3D mesh of your face) and facial expression data (blendshape coefficients) to position and animate superhero masks on your face.

Photos and Videos

These are saved directly to your device’s photo library. We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos or videos on any server.

Information We Do NOT Collect

How We Use Your Information

The App processes camera and face data entirely on your device to provide AR face tracking and mask overlay features. No face data, camera data, or personal data is sent to external servers. Face data from the TrueDepth camera is used only to render AR masks in real time and is never stored or retained.

Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings.

Data Storage & Security

All data stays on your device. The App does not use cloud storage, remote databases, or any server-side infrastructure. Your photos and videos are stored in your device’s photo library under Apple’s built-in security protections.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services that collect or process your data.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
